Saturday 9th April – walk *** – Around Felixtowe – sunny periods.

Was keeping an eye on the wind today as it was promising for a foil although with the wind NW and a late tide meaning Bradfield was not really an option it would have had have been Levington but in the end we had a message from the Hurrells inviting us over to their caravan for a cuppa:) As we haven’t seen Neil and Linda now for many months it was a no brainer, I even got up early to do my exercises before leaving home around ten to walk down to Peewit caravan site in lovely sunshine. Down through Langer Park with my heel holding up OK and we were only ten minutes late at the caravan. We sat outside having a great two hour catch up chat before heading for home along the busy Felixstowe prom with another top Suffolk Sky:) The wind had picked up to around 20 knots but it was too late in the day to sail, Monday is looking promising for a sail at Felixstowe, fingers crossed!
